Advances in Green Synthesis of Metal Oxide Nanoparticles by Marine Algae for Wastewater Treatment by Adsorption and Photocatalysis Techniques

چکیده

The use of algae-based green synthesis metal oxide nanoparticles (MONPs) for bioremediation is an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to conventional approaches. Algal-mediated offers several benefits over other biogenic processes, such as plants, bacteria, fungi, including ease synthesis, scalability, rapid synthesis. Algae are readily available in nature, nontoxic, can produce various types nanoparticles. This approach could significantly accelerate the development novel algae-nanomaterials with improved properties performance, leading more efficient pollutants from water solutions, seawater, industrial effluent. review focuses on fabrication based aquatic plants (microalgae seaweeds) due their many advantages attractive applications pollutant remediation aqueous solutions. Additionally, photocatalysis highlighted a promising tool effluents its efficacy, use, quick oxidation, cost-effectiveness, reduced harmful byproducts.
